My art practice is multidisciplinary and includes painting, drawing and recently ceramics.

The theme of my work is abstracted landscape and fragments of textures.

My works from the last period explore the relationship between observation and interpretation. Emotional reaction plays a big role here. With living colours, I capture a personal interpretation of the changing landscape, where I see certain patterns, directions and connection of lines and surfaces.

First with pencil or paint and then I depict it in clay. Often a drawing becomes the starting point for a relief. A chain reaction is created between my drawings, paintings and ceramic sculptures.

In today's troubled times, I try to incorporate in my work the crumbling world around me. To express my perception, I ended up with new material, namely clay, which I started working with since march 2024. This material gives me the feeling that I can repair the world by sticking pieces together and connecting them. Clay has something primal, something at the beginning of the creation of the world and makes me feel a connection with the earth and nature.

With great attention, I study the different components of nature. I am particularly interested in substance that has no solid form, such as water or fire. The elusive fascinates and inspires me. It also gives space for interpretation and expression. In my work I am looking for a certain structure and the connection of forms and colour.
